How many years of experience do you have selling warranties? (Obviously, the longer the better!)
Do you Offer Financing? (Preferably 0% financing!)
Can I Choose The Repair Facility? (You want to be able to have your car repaired at a shop that you know and trust.)
Do You Pay The Repair Facility Directly? (You don't want to have to pay the bill yourself and then fight for a reimbursement!)
Do You Have Verifiable Financial Stability? (The importance of this can't be stressed enough!)
Do Your Warranties Include Wear & Tear Coverage? (If it doesn't a part has to completely fail before it will be considered as a covered repair.)
Is Overheating Covered? (This is an important part of a warranty's coverage. If the engine overheats and something breaks as a result - i.e. a cracked engine block or head - you want to make sure you're covered.)
Do You Offer One Deductible Per Visit? (You don't want one deductible per item repaired.)
Do You Offer a Zero Deductible Option? (An important option to have available.)
Do you Offer Roadside Assistance Protection? (You want coverage if you need to be towed for a covered repair, or if you run out of gas, lock your keys in the car, etc.)
Do you Offer Car Rental Reimbursement? (You want to be able to get a rental car if your vehicle is in the shop overnight for a covered repair.)
Do You Offer Travel Interruption Protection? (This will pay for hotel and food if you break down due to a covered repair while traveling.)
Is The Warranty Transferable or Renewable? (If it's transferable it will increase the value of your vehicle should you decide to sell it.)
Are Your Warranties Insured and Reinsured By A-Rated Companies? (This is so important that I can't stress it enough!)
Do You Offer Secure Online Purchasing? (This should be standard. If they don't offer it say good-by and go to another company!)
