Car Dealer Ripps-Off Customer on Extended Auto Warranty Transfer

This car dealer sold a customer a truck with an extended auto warranty, then less than a year later traded him into a different truck and told him they were transferring the old extended warranty to the new truck . . . for $1,495! The same price he paid for the warranty on the first truck.

So, in less than a year he has paid $2,990 for two extended auto warranties, and they told him they simply transferred the warranty.

In reality, you can't transfer an extended auto warranty to a different vehicle, only to a different owner, and he should have been given a refund on the unused portion of the first warranty before they sold (and that's what they did) him a new warranty.
